French Memories Website Redesign

A new website design for French Memories Bakery that expresses their true brand identity and bakery aesthetic to improve the customer experience and increase online sales.

Description

Goals

This project focused on redesigning the website for French Memories, a beloved French bakery located in Duxbury, Massachusetts. The original site had outdated visuals, duplicate menus, and limited storytelling, which made it difficult for users to find key information. Through user research, heuristic evaluation, and usability testing, I identified pain points and designed a more intuitive, visually engaging website that better communicates the brand’s identity and improves the user experience.

  • Improve usability by streamlining navigation and reducing redundant content.

  • Highlight essential information in more visible and accessible ways.

  • Create a cohesive visual identity that reflects the bakery’s French heritage and welcoming atmosphere.

  • Enhance the menu and ordering experience by integrating photos and clear item descriptions.

  • Design a modern, mobile-friendly interface that meets the needs of both loyal locals and visiting foodies.
